This mod will add a custom music track for the following areas:
- City Gates
- Temple of Helm
- Umar Hills
- Slums
- Slums at Night
- Brynnlaw
- Docks
- Underdark
- Demon Plane (in the sphere quest)
More tracks may be added in future releases.
For Our Dialup Users
The mod is roughly 20 MB in size, which may cause troubles for our visitors without a high-speed Internet connection. For your convenience, the mod is also available in smaller chunks for easier downloading. First, download the appropriate installer:
Extract these files into your BG2 directory, but do not run the Setup-AceAltMusic program yet. Next, download the five music packs:- Music Pack 00 (2,505 kb)
- Music Pack 01 (4,351kb)
- Music Pack 02 (3,196kb)
- Music Pack 03 (4,072kb)
- Music Pack 04 (4,660kb)
Using WinRAR (or another program that can decompress rar files), extract these files directly into the AceAltMusic/acm directory inside your BG2 directory. Once all of the packs have been extracted, run the setup program in your BG2 folder.
If the music packs were extracted incorrectly and/or not installed by the mod, the setup program should display a warning after it runs.
