Elai

This mod adds a new joinable NPC to the game named Elai. An arrogant young nobleman, the only thing you know about him for certain is that you still have much to learn.
After an encounter with a dark and malevolent Shadow, join with Elai and experience his tale of betrayal, intrigue and the gods...
Elai is a Lawful Evil half-elven male, with the following statistics:
- STR: 15
- DEX: 17
- CON: 10
- INT: 16
- WIS: 11
- CHR: 14
He has a unique kit, based on the thief class. When encountered he is Level 12 with a bias towards stealth and finding traps. His proficiencies are in quarterstaff, dagger, long sword, crossbow and two-handed weapon style and he has a small amount of equipment, including his signet ring. The kit is as follows:
SHADOWDANCER: Operating in the border between light and darkness, Shadowdancers are nimble artists of deception. They are mysterious and unknown, never completely trusted but always inducing wonder when met. Despite their link with shadows and trickery, Shadowdancers are as often good as evil. They may use their incredible abilities as they wish.
Shadowdancers often work in troupes, never staying in one place too long. Some use their abilities to entertain. Others operate as thieves, using their abilities to infiltrate past defenses and dupe others. All Shadowdancer troupes maintain an aura of mystery among the populace, who never know whether to think well or ill of them.
Advantages:
- Gains a +5% bonus to Hide and Move Silently skills per 2 levels
- Has permanent Infravision
- May cast Reflected Image once per day
- From level 5, can summon a Shadow once per day. The Shadow increases in power as the Shadowdancer gains levels, has stealthy abilities, and is summoned for 8 hours.
- From level 8, may cast Shadow Door once per day. Further uses are gained at levels 14 and 20.
Disadvantages:
- Only gets 15 skill points per level.
- May not set traps
His biography is as follows:
When you ask about his past, ELAI smirks and fixes you with a cruel gaze. You get the impression that there's a lot he's not telling you, though for what reasons you do not know. This much he will say: the half-elf claims to be from the Great Desert of Anauroch to the north, far away from any lands you have travelled. His bearing suggests a noble upbringing, though again he is light on the specifics. His past is as clouded in shadow as the man himself seems to be.
