About This File

This mod is a collection of player AI scripts designed for use in Baldurs Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, the Enhanced Edition Trilogy, and Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition. With these scripts, you can focus on the fighting aspect of combat while these take care of the nuances in the background. Of note, these scripts allow easy pre-buffing of all characters with a keystroke, intelligent debuffing of enemy protections, and smart use of defensive spells and abilities.

Released

Official release for version 8.0 which brings the following enhancements:

  • All Games
    • Improved tracking for all spells to ensure the scripts don't cancel a player cast spell.
    • Improved tracking for resurrection, removing fear, removing diseases, removing paralysis, and restoration spells to prevent overcasting.
    • Added disabling_spells as an ini option for the MO-CORE and MO-SKALD scripts. Default of 0 is off.
      • This adds the following spells: Doom, Insect Plague, False Dawn, Sunray, Greater Malison.
      • This adds use of the following items: Daystar
    • Added healing as an ini option for the BasicAI scripts. Default of 0 is off.
    • Added long duration spells as an ini option for the BasicAI scripts. Default of 0 is off.
    • Added Impervious Sanctity of Mind and Mind Blank to prebuffing.
    • Updated Wizard Armor, Ghost Armor, and Spirit Armor tracking.
    • Updated Improved Haste to target others during prebuffing.
    • Updated remove curse to be cast out of combat and reduce overcasting.
    • Corrected bug with Black Blade of Disaster being continually cast.
    • Regeneration will now be cast in combat if a character's health drops below 50%.
