Double Set of Cure Spells With Iacthu Xvim Priest

I imported a lawful evil cleric from BG1 as an Aulfwafflate or whatever the hell it's called of Bane's demony son. When I played this character in BG2 I ended up with two sets of cure light wounds and cure serious wounds. One spell set, like in the kit description, would heal only my PC and the other spell set, like the regular spell, would heal anyone. I've had to experiment a couple times to figure out which one's which so I can play according to the rules of the kit (which BTW I think is really awesome).

 

Is this a regular problem? Is this because I imported? What, if anything, can I do about it?
