Since the encounter is inavoidable, and I doubt Jastey feels like re-writing a huge chunk of BG2 to accomodate the paladin's way to help Adalon or have an NPC she painstackingly added to the game dropping out of the party and wandering away. There is some degree of player convenience that is good to take into an account. It's just one banter, after all, doesn't have to become a crucial turning point....

What Domi said. And, in a former version, Ajantis was speaking up in front of Adalon, having a great monolog.. which didn't fit to game flow. At all. So now he is more complaining about it to the PC, which also fits, I think. She is a Silver Lady, after all.

Jastey I have a nasty cold and don't feel good. So that means that I don't enjoy my games as much but today you made me laugh so hard I cried. I have to admit that I needed a good laugh so maybe the moment was just right. I won't spoil people who don't know but what happened to Ajantis in the Drow City just cracked me up. I felt bad for him later but when it first happened the idea was just too much and I just couldn't help but laugh and laugh until I cried and was almost choking.

 

So thanks for a great mod and romance and for making this sick gal laugh. And laugh again later with the resolution of that particular problem.

 

People please don't flame me. I'm not in my right mind at the moment.

I agree with Ankhesenpaaten, I thought that was *hilarious*! Even though, I was a bit annoyed when I couldn't manage to resolve said problem in Ust Natha. I thought the solution was absolutely priceless (although Ajantis chose the Shadow Thieves' basement to solve his little problem, maybe that's not the most appropriate spot?).

I have the Edwin Romance installed. Does anyone else? It shut down as it should since I am playing Ajantis betrothed and now married, but Ajantis' talks outweighed Edwin's almost every time. I would hear Eddie's romance music and but never get the LT. This is now to the point that all I have left really is the Elven City and Edwin never did ask for the Nether Scroll. I know this isn't a game breaker but it was meant to be in there per Bioware (but of course Bioware did not anticipate a romance being made for him). Just a heads up. But I do have a larger install than I had anticipated so if others got the Nether Scroll Quest than just disregard my post, Jastey. And I have been to the cemetery with him several times and still he doesn't mention it at all.

Ankhesenpaaten: I am glad I could make you laugh, that's a good thing, I think.

I heard that some version of the Edwin romance overwrites Edwin's script file, so order of installation is important. All Ajantis mod does to Edwin is add some banters, nothing else, so I wouldn't know it's the culprit for your problems.

 

Eleima, Ankhesenpaaten: Thank you for reporting this, it was a mixed "or" that allowed the dialogue to fire during day no matter where. Fixed locally.

O.K., it looks like this is not an Ajantis problem. I've searched in the Edwin Romance forum after Nether Scroll Quest and found some threads which have a similar problem. The best is, if you report your problem there, so we can try to find out, what happened.

Right now, both romances should run simultaneously, yes. As far as I know, Edwin is not included in the CBP, so unless the mod gets updated it will stay so.
