Drow Avatar complications

From the Bioware BG2 Tech Support Forums:

 

Imoen died while under the drow avatar enchantment. When I resurrected her later on the surface - she was still in her drow avatar-look. I installed this patch that was supposed to fix it, but it takes effect only when the npc joins with your party. Imoen is already in my party.

 

So, if someone could either tell me how to make her leave and rejoin, for the patch to take effect, or just tell me another way of fixing this, it would be great.

 

I know it's not really a big deal, since it doesn't affect the gameplay, but, well, I'm a stickler, I guess.

 

The player was able to fix his problem in game using Shadowkeeper.

Outside of some hacky script bits for every NPC tracking whether the spell takes effect, this really isn't fixable.
