Imoen's Artifact

I've used Imoen's artifact a couple of times now, and it says that polymorph: other has been cast but as far as I can see nothing has actually happened and no dialouge has appeared involving the artifact, after I used it, or anytime since it was created.

 

Is this normal or am I experiencing a bug?

Take a peek at what happens to her dexterity before and after using the artifact.

Is it permanent, or is it just a one time thing?

Once per day, unless I'm mistaken.

I wonder if there is a way we can suppress the messages, so that the effect plays, and the custom spell is cast, but plyorph doesn't appear? I remember doing something with effects at some point in the distant past...

Take out everything but the dexterity bonus ?

i cant get her to make the artifact is there some sort of requirements? Is it time passed or game days passed? i was supportive in her magic i think i picked 1,1 the last being its ok to try it or something like that. The problem it causes ive noticed is with any spell casting scripts. she refuses to cast any offensive magic spells until its created. The script i have works fine with dyn and edwin so its not the script. I got her to create it the first time but my next two times ive tried it hasnt worked. any ideas?
