Usually Lurking
A question came up on another board I frequent and no one seems to know the answer. So I was wondering if anyone here could help out. The question is: What area of Aber-Toril is modeled after Germany? Thanks. Link to comment
Chev
The question is: What area of Aber-Toril is modeled after Germany? Thanks. Culturally??? None as far as I know. Geographically?? Much of the north has rivers, forest and mountains but they don't bring Germany to mind for me. Why don't you ask Ed Greenwood? He would know if he was thinking of Germany when he created any part of the Forgotten Realms. Link to comment
Lemernis
Heya UL I'm assuming you mean culturally... I'd say Damara probably comes closest. Link to comment
Usually Lurking
@ Chev - Excellent link. I was completely unaware that stuff existed. But OMG talk about information overload trying to find anything. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be spending quite a bit of time there or directing others there as information is required/requested. Thanks! @ Lem - Heya buddy! Good info, thanks. Link to comment
Galactygon
I am curious, do any of the smaller european countries have counterparts in Toril? Hungary, Czech Republic, Sweden, and Poland come to mind. -Galactygon Link to comment
