Guest Enkle
I have a bit of a problem, was hoping someone on here could help. I have some mods installed for BG2:TOB, and I'm getting the slow save/load time problem popping up in my games all of the sudden, even when I load earlier games... I play for a bit, and one of the next few saves is screwed up as well. So, my question is this: Can I install the beta 26499 patch now and not lose stuff from the mods? Not sure if you need to know which mods I have installed, but here's the list: Ascension, BG2 Fix Pack, BG2 Tweak Pack, and Rogue Rebalancing. Thanks a bunch, Enkle Link to comment
Kulyok
No, you cannot. Uninstall the mods, or, better yet, delete your override directory and Weidu.log, and unpack the patched ToB backup from here: http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/topic,17555.0.html Link to comment
berelinde
There were some problems with the beta patch. You might be better off with 26498. Link to comment
Smoketest
Yeah 26499 fixed saves for some folks, but broke random map spawns for everyone who uses it. I never have problems with long saves, so I stick to 26498. Link to comment
aVENGER_(RR)
I've never used patch 24999 myself and thus Rogue Rebalancing was never tested with it. However, like Smoketest, I've also heard some bad things about it (most notably messing up some parts of the gameplay) so I'd suggest avoiding it if possible. Link to comment
