Guest mason188 Posted July 31, 2007 Share Posted July 31, 2007 Hi I have BG2 Fixpack v4, Xan, and Ascension installed. I recently noticed Khelben's warding whip was not working on enemies. I tried casting Spell Deflection on my main character and casting the whip on my main character and nothing happened. Also nothing happened the following 3 rounds like stated in the spell description. I then casted Ruby Ray on the main character and it removed the Spell Deflection like it was supposed to. So I found that the file spwi705.spl is the file related to the warding whip. I removed this file from the override folder and the next time I fired up BG2, the spell worked fine as it should. Not sure if this is a bug in the fixpack or with one of the other mods I have installed. Thanks. Link to comment

Actually I seem to recall a discussion of this on the SCSII forums, though I can't find it now... I can't recall the conclusion, either. Link to comment
