Are these things possible?

I want to know if the following things are possible to be done with a mod for BG2(SoA and ToB), and if any mods that do these things already exist:

- Allow rogues to detect traps and stealth at the same time, like in NWN.

- Allow rogues to pick locks and open doors while still stealthed or invisible.

- Allow more than 5 NPCs in your party with you at once.

- Allow you to play a character who is a multi- or dual-class druid/thief, which is not normally a valid option.

The other thing is, I want to play solo, for all intents and purposes. I hate having to deal with a party, to keep them alive, etc. And I like the challenge of beating all of the combat encounters with just one character. But I also want to have all of the interaction, dialogue, and storyline elements of having the NPCs along.

I already tried using Zyraen's Solo with a Party script, and I didn't care for it at all. My character was gaining way too much XP, and the Mazing in and out was buggy and weird, and sometimes I had to disable the UI or else my main character would just stand there casting Freedom over and over. But if I disabled it, then the monsters would try to attack the NPCs instead of me, which trivialized the encounter.

So are there any other mods which will allow me to closely simulate soloing while keeping the roleplaying experience of having a party of NPCs? Something maybe that will turn all of my NPCs into invisible, nondetectable, invincible ghosts who follow me around but are totally ignored by the game world?

Even better would be not having them at all, but somehow having the game believe they're with me, so that the dialogues and such would pop up as though they were, even though I was alone in the party.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

These things are hardcoded and unchangable.

Don't think so, no.

Sorry, that's the only mod I could think of to recommend.

IIRC the first is doable via an AI trick. The first version of Amber's AI allowed her to hide in shadows and search for traps at the same time. I had this feature removed from the AI, because I felt it was more like cheating and most importantly not terribly good for roleplaying. You should ask Yovaneth at SHS - he made the combat AI for Amber.

And I always thought it was an eminently practical thing to do - after all, which rogue wants to be seen if they are detecting traps - or at any other time? :p???

Yes, this can be done but not picking locks or opening doors - that's hardcoded into the game.
