justinreed1010
Hello, I'd rather not have a spoiler, but can you at least tell me whether or not you pick Auren up in the Copper Cornet because I don't see her anywhere. I just want to know if I need to move on and look elsewhere or if something went wrong with the install. I am also using The Darkest Day mod. Though I have not read there were any incompatibilities. Thanks Justin Link to comment
theacefes
Auren can be found at the Copper Coronet. Or rather, she'll find you when you go inside. Link to comment
justinreed1010
Darn, must not have worked... Link to comment
Gabrielle
Is this a new game or did you install the mod after starting a new game? If this is an old game and you visited the Copper Cornet and then installed the mod afterwords, she will not show up. Also what was your installation order? TDD adds content to the Copper Cornet as well. Link to comment
justinreed1010
Thank you both for the input-I had a feeling that would happen. I installed TDD after Auren. She must have been overwritten eh? Link to comment
Gabrielle
Most likely. Always install bigger mods before smaller ones. Big mods usually make a lot of changes in the game. Link to comment

Thanks Justin PLEASE tell me that you're using the Weidu version from Spellhold Studios and not the original version? The original version would definitely overwrite the dialog.tlk, but it's also significantly buggier than the weidu one. Link to comment
theacefes
Though this is no intended offense towards the creators of TDD, I usually don't install ANYTHING else in BG2 while playing TDD, or any huge mod, especially when it is KNOWN to have bugs and/or random times in which the game will either crash, a dlg will be messed up, etc. TDD had a tendency to mess with all of the other mods I had installed, which were also WeiDU and very much compatible with one another. So if you really want my advice, I would just either not install Auren for this game run, or if you do want to play Auren, uninstall TDD and not play it at all. Again, this is just what happened with me when I played TDD, and yes this was the SHS WeiDU one. Link to comment
