DavidW
I'm trying to find a way to turn off (selectively) the orange globe that appears whenever a summoned monster (summoned via spell, that is) does. I can set the animation that appears on completion of casting (skull-lined gate, rearing monster head, egg hatched from stone, whatever) but I can't seem to do anything about the flash of orange light that appears when the creature itself does. Any suggestions? Link to comment

igi
Find all monster summing effects, and add a BAM playing effect to play a duplicate of the flash BAM. Then blank the original flash BAM. I forget whether the modern descriptive for this is a hack, a kludge, or just a bad idea. Link to comment

devSin
Put up with it, definitely. IIRC, the flash on spawn is hardcoded (even if you run your own animation, they still SPGFLSH1 when they appear). Link to comment
