theacefes
MORE SARAH SPOILERS... Okay so, I've got this CRE (Anna) that is supposed to spawn in AR1000 when the global "SarahQuest" is set to 1. She doesn't however. IF Global("SarahQuest","GLOBAL",1) THEN RESPONSE #100 CreateCreature("ANNA",[2256.1354],7) END I know for a fact that the global is set to 1 and the CRE does exist. This really should be quite simple and it could very well be that I have been looking at it too long. Link to comment
Gort
is it in area script? Do you EXTEND_TOP or EXTEND_BOTTOM? Link to comment
theacefes
Extend Bottom. Link to comment
theacefes
Still no spawning I'm afraid. Is this something that requires starting a new game? Link to comment
Gort
no, it shouldn't require a new game Link to comment
Rabain
And the cre filename is actually anna.cre ? Link to comment

CoM_Solaufein
no, it shouldn't require a new game It does if you have visited that area already. Link to comment
cmorgan
CoM_Solaufein is right - and check that your cache folder is empty, too. Gorilym and I spent three full modding days (or more, I think) reworking a Dynaheir's Quest cutscene, because nothing we did seemed to apply, until we both realized that we were loading from saves in the area we wanted the changes made - so everything had already had its script saved in the savegame. CoM_Solaufein
I forgot about the cache. I had this problem before many years ago. Start a new game, empty the cache folder. Which is why one should start a new game when they play a mod for the first time. They'll miss things, sometimes important things and wonder why the mod is "broken". Link to comment
theacefes
Thanks, I'll try this! Link to comment
