Avenger
This is my description for this effect. Alters the number of wizard spell slots available to the targetted creature(s), as specified by the 'Slot Amount Modifier' field, at the level specified by the 'Spell Level' field. Known values for 'Spell Level' are: 0 Double slots in all level <= Slot Amount Modifier 1 Level 1 2 Level 2 4 Level 3 8 Level 4 16 Level 5 32 Level 6 64 Level 7 128 Level 8 256 Level 9 *512 Double single slot = Slot Amount Modifier For a 'Spell Level' of 0, the amount in spell slots is doubled for the level specified by the 'Slot Amount Modifier' value and all levels below. For a 'Spell Level' of 512, the amount in spell slots is doubled for the level specified by the 'Slot Amount Modifier' value. For values 1-511 the Slot Amount Modifier is added to the spell slots if the Value matches the level, 'Slot Amount Modifier' can be positive or negative. *works only in HoW (see ringed.itm) It is unsure if this works in IWD2, IWD2 doesn't use the effect anywhere (and i have yet to check the code). Guest erik
Known values for 'Spell Level' are:0 Double slots in all level <= Slot Amount Modifier 1 Level 1 2 Level 2 4 Level 3 8 Level 4 16 Level 5 32 Level 6 64 Level 7 128 Level 8 256 Level 9 *512 Double single slot = Slot Amount Modifier Hmm. So is it actually a bitfield, then? If you use Spell Level 32+64=96, does it add level 6 & 7 slots, for example? Link to comment
Avenger
yes Btw, iwd2 works differently, i think it is intended this way: bard, sorceror, wizard get slots from 0x2a cleric, druid, paladin, ranger get slots from 0x3e (iirc) The HoW version of the cleric slot bonuses also uses 0x200 for the single slot double function, even though it doesn't use 0x80 and 0x100 values for level 8/9.
