I know Jashan, the author of Crumbling Down, personally, and well... I'm very sorry to say, I very much doubt there will ever be a Chapter 8.

So I'm resurrecting a thread that's years old... please don't shoot me. :\

 

On the subject of "Crumbling Down", there is actually a chapter 8. There will eventually be a Chapter 9, even, after real life sorts things out. Actually, since I wrote about this recently on the Imoen forums, I'll just copy/paste that here:

For some reason or another, Google Analytics says that there's a lot of people who *really* like "Crumbling Down". (For those of you who don't know "Crumbling Down", it's my in-progress novelization of BG:SOA and the Imoen Romance. It is popular and people like it, so go read it. Tell your friends.)

 

So, here's an announcement.

 

Right now Crumbling Down (and my other BG fanfic) lives here. (That's http://www.g2n.be/writing.php)

 

However, I'm working on updating / cleaning up all of my writing and moving it to a new, hopefully more professional website. That website is here. (That's http://www.g2n.be/tcdale)

 

Note the name change. No, no one is stealing my work and claiming it as their own. I'm just "rebranding" stuff to be under my name instead of "Jashan" (which is an internet alias I've had since MUDing backin 1995 and has been used for everything from religious debate to conlanging to LOLCats to ....hell, lots.)

 

So, if you're a fan of my writing (or of BG fanfic in general), bookmark the new site, drop by and visit, leave some comments, etc. Things will take a bit to move over (and Crumbling Down will be one of the last due to its size), but it'll be re-edited, hopefully typo-free, a bit cleaner format, and other improvements. And sooner or later, YES, I will get around to writing Chapter 9. (It's not dead. It's just... sleeping. A lot.)
