theacefes
To use WeiDU to change the music tracks in BG2 and then be able to revert back to the original songs with an "uninstall"? Just curious. Link to comment
Mike1072
You can edit SONGLIST.2DA or the .MUS files it references. Does this mean you're looking into making a custom BG soundtrack? Link to comment
theacefes
Heh, well truthfully I was just wondering. I don't think I'm quite there yet in terms of skill to redo the soundtrack. Link to comment

Mike1072
I would SET_2DA_ENTRY for the Resources of all the songs I wanted to change, with the new values being the names of my .MUS files (which I'd COPY to the music folder along with my .ACMs), but I've never tried this before. Link to comment
theacefes
I'm guessing that I'd have to divide the custom acms into a intro, a middle, and end for the fadeouts, etc. no? Link to comment

Oh, yeah, it's tricky business. But composing the music with this in mind could give interesting results... if you do decide to take this up, I'll be very interested to hear what you come up with. theacefes
Hehe...well my original thought was doing the general music for some areas (particularly the cities and forests in day and night) just to add something fresh to the game. Battle music, taverns, etc...I don't know. Link to comment
