Artimus
Looking at the HP*.2da files, all classes get their normal hit points up through 9th level. At 10th level, they start gaining the f lat HP bonus. The entry seems incorrect for a Mage, however. At 10th level, they're still gaining 1d4 hit points, not a flat "1" as they should. (This is on a fresh install with nothing but the BG2 Fixpack) Link to comment
aVENGER_(RR)
Mages get to roll a d4 for hit points at level 10 as well, it's per PnP rules: Wizard Experience Levels Level Mage/Specialist Hit Dice (d4) 1 0 1 2 2,500 2 3 5,000 3 4 10,000 4 5 20,000 5 6 40,000 6 7 60,000 7 8 90,000 8 9 135,000 9 10 250,000 10 11 375,000 10+1 12 750,000 10+2 13 1,125,000 10+3 14 1,500,000 10+4 15 1,875,000 10+5 16 2,250,000 10+6 17 2,625,000 10+7 18 3,000,000 10+8 19 3,375,000 10+9 20 3,750,000 10+10 This table is taken from the 2E AD&D Player's Handbook. The same table can be found in the BG2 manual (page 228). Link to comment
CamDawg
Sure, but BioWare cared somewhere between 0 and -1 for P&P. Unless there's something that suggests this is not intended you'll have to wait for a mod to do this. Link to comment
aVENGER_(RR)
Umm, Cam, the table I posted is already properly implemented in the game. The topic starter thought that the 10th level die roll was a bug, and I merely pointed out that it's not. Link to comment

Artimus
Feel encouraged to move this to the "Not Bugs" section. Stupid AD&D... Link to comment
WizWom
Feel encouraged to move this to the "Not Bugs" section.Stupid AD&D... Actually, Thieves got 1d6 at 10th, too. And Monks also got a 10th hit die, IIRC. Consistency and rational thinking through were not the strong suits of Gary and Dave. But they sure did come up with a fun game. Link to comment
