I've read the previous posts, and it's apparently a known (if oddly appled) "bug". Here is what helped for me: Click the book, save the game, load the game. Don't know why though.. The same here ... dunno why sometimes the book just doesn't work. I guess my post of some days ago has been deleted, anyway ... i'm experiencing problem with a GS PC and his Thac0. It is set to 0 and even if i set it with NI to 20, at next level up it goes again to 0. Anyone noticed the same? It also happens to a normal "sorcerer" eventually ... mm75 Quote Link to comment

Everything appears to work (e.g. I am a sorcerer, I get the modified HLA's, and get the additional spells from the HLA's), but I don't have the option to shapeshift (currently am level 10) and as of right now I have no druid spells (don't know when you get them, but CLUA'd myself to level 20 and still didn't have any). When I CLUAd myself to a higher level I got access to the GS HLAs as well. Just never any shapeshifting or druid spells (exept for the ones that come from the HLAs). Quote Link to comment

Don't know why though.. hi everyone! i have a problem with this mod- whenever using the book i see only 'puff' and nothing happens.. tried save and load doesnt work either.. clean instalattion only ToB and newest patch.. any idea what can be wrong? i realllllllllllly would like to try GS sounds like it can bring some fresh air back into the game.. thanks for help! Only problem is, I can't actually get it to work. Using TuTu with the NPC pack installed. I can get the tome through the console just fine, as soon as I start the game. However, I'm having the same problem as the people a couple posts up. Just a puff of smoke and no changes at all, even on my PC. Tried saving and loading, though should I wait for the book to go away before I save or do I save right after I click it? Anyway. Can't get it to work and I would really appreciate some help. MEANING: - At a real non-cheating beginning the kid is too bad: A level 1-sorcerer has no advantage equal to his 6 lost bodily ability points. And he advances very slowly - if he lives long enough to advance. - At high levels he is too mighty. - Until now I never played a good kit. But I try on (with an avenger starting in BG1). That's cause you need to extract the latest weidu.exe to the game folder(the Windows Binary archive in here), remove the setup-*modname*.exe and then rename the weidu.exe to be that setup-*modname*.exe you just deleted, and then run it.
