erebusant
When I look at Sharteel.bcs and try to compile it it always comes up with "missing resources" sounds Shrar & Shart99. Link to comment
cmorgan
probably PlaySound("shart99") from Phases 1 and 2, and PlaySound("shrar") from the romance (phase 3) .bafs which are hooks to the BG1 NPC music addon. They do nothing without the music pack, but if the music pack is installed, these .bcs references call on specific soundtracks) volume (independent of actual soundtrack). I believe the idea (ast least what I do) is to turn off in-game sound and allow the ambient sound and sound effects to play, giving you a new soundtrack whenever an NPC speaks as a friend or as a romantic partner. Leaving these in your .bcs should not cause any problems at all, as the engine will happily skip the reference if it can't find the resource. Link to comment
