Guest Malik ibn Harun
Heya folks, I tried installing this mod both on a lent laptop as well as my local pc. Neither does work with different but quite similar error messages. I've uploaded the one from my pc here: http://home.arcor.de/mreich/Forum/SETUP-WIDESCREEN.DEBUG The critical passage should be this one: BIFF may be in hard-drive CD-path [C:\Black Isle\Torment/AR0100.cbf] ERROR: BIFF [./AR0100.BIF] cannot be loaded: Unix.Unix_error(20, "stat", "./AR0100.BIF") On my laptop it states "Resource [ar0123.wed] not found in KEY file:". Somehow I cannot post the second link, because I'm told guests can only post 2 links. -.- Anyways, what am I doing wrong? First I thought it doesn't work on the laptop because of the quite excentric full install (got that tip from some website I don't remember anymore). But my new "normal" install (without any customization) doesn't work either. Link to comment
Guest Guest
And here's the second link: http://home.arcor.de/mreich/Forum/SETUP-WI...EN_laptop.DEBUG Sorry for any mistakes regarding my English. I already found some but I guess as usual I won't be able to edit my posts as a guest. Link to comment
the bigg
Don't worry about your English. The second debug file is caused by Widescreen Mod 0.7. That bug was solved in 0.8 (along with the crashing bug). I strongly urge you to download 0.8 and use that. It looks like the first debug file is caused by not actually using the full install, which is required for WSM to work properly in PST and BG1. Link to comment
Guest Malik ibn Harun
It works! Thank you for your help. With the 0.8 version it worked perfectly on my laptop. I'll perform a full install on my PC here. 1024x600 were fine on the 15,4" laptop so I guess 1280x960 should work for my 21" CRT here. Link to comment
