Installation error I do not understand

I've received a debug file containing the following error message, and I have no idea why. The mod folder is named AmaureasPCPortraits, and there is a folder named Portraits.

 

Here's the debug message:

Not sure, but it looks like it is trying to copy a whole folder, but instead is looking for an individual file -

 

is the reported DEBUG from a Win98 machine?

A folder called Portraits already exists? Can't make create a folder of the same name if one already exists.

 

Why is it making a folder called Portraits to begin with. Most gamers already have one.

Doesn't matter. If the folder exists, WeiDU does nothing and moves on.

 

I'd make sure there's actually a folder "Portraits" inside "AmaureasPCPortraits" and that the user didn't do something stupid like copy the contents of the "AmaureasPCPortraits" folder into the BG2 directory (instead of copying the folder itself).

 

IIRC, WeiDU now creates a backup hierarchy, so there's no guarantee that the folder was there (it'll just create the folder, then backup, then 0).

I'm thinking it was a bum download. I sent a fresh copy over email, with nothing changed but an updated version of weidu, and the installation went just fine.
