SCS Installation Issue

Hi David,

 

i got a problem installing SCS over my BGT game. The installation goes smoothly until it reaches this step in Smarter General AI component:

 

// BP compatibility

 

ACTION_IF !(FILE_EXISTS_IN_GAME ~fw0100.are~) THEN BEGIN

COPY_EXISTING ~misc01.itm~ ~override/dw#comp1.xxx~ // installation marker 1

INCLUDE ~SCS/bgt/bpcomgen.tph~

END

 

The installation just hangs saying "Copying 1 file" ... and it stays there forever.

 

I needed to comment out those lines (i won't use BP apart the Xvart component Village) so it's not an issue for me, but i'm wondering why it happens.

Well ... just as an update, i cannot install even later. Anytime it does a check for a Compatibility (so BGT too) it hangs ... weird indeed. I cannot install it actually in BGT ...

 

Here is what i've installed before:

 

BG2Fixpack

Shadow over Soubar

Ascension

BGT

DsotSC

NTotSC

SoB

TGC Episode 1st

Tower of Deception

H&P Bg1

H%P Bg2

BG1 Unfinished Business

Lost Items

 

I also tried uninstalling some of those mods (as UB) ... but ... same behaviour ...

David ... don't consider this post sorry.

 

It was a fault of mine, a process hang my CPU at 100% ... It TOOK ages to install SCS but it went fine at the end,

 

now get rid of that damned process :-)))
