Guest Weian
Hey DavidW, what a surprise, I just came home and found there is a new version of scsII... great! Though I can't install, this is what I get: [./setup-scsII] WeiDU version 20300{Setup-bg2fixpack} Queried (pid = 1143) If that means that fixpack is required, I did install the fixpack. The pid of "setup-scsII" is 1142. Any ideas what this means/how to fix this? And, thanks for your great work!!! Can't wait to try it... Link to comment

Well, in windows, that means that you have to update/copy-paste-rename the WeiDU.exe(called setup-scsII.exe) to a newer version, so in theory, you only have to copy-paste the Setup-bg2fixpack.ds(or whatever the .exe is in Mac) and rename it to setup-scsII.ds(the same note). Guest Weian
Ok, got it. I found 2 tweaks to get scsII (v3) installed. If there are any other Macusers who wish to run scsII out there, here is how to get it working: 1) Install the G3 fixpack. 2) Copy all scsII data in your BG2 folder, open "setup-scsII.command" in BBEdit, correct the missing underscore in line 1 ("command path=${0%/*}" should be: "command_path=${0%/*}") and save the file in Unix format (BBEdit: save as > options > Linebreaks: Unix). Open the terminal and run "chmod 755 [your path]setup-scsII.command". 3) Delete "Setup-bg2fixpack" in your BG2 root folder and run "setup-scsII.command". ScsII should install correctly now. DavidW: SmarterMages workes fine now, thanks!!! jarno mikkola: I will later give your hint a try, thanks anyway! Link to comment
the bigg
This is auto update on the mac. The only mac tester is a prick and doesn't want to test features he doesn't use, so I cannot know if they work until people actually have errors. Link to comment
CamDawg
I've updated the OS X package to resolve these issues. The .command file is fixed and I rolled back WeiDU to v202 so it won't try to auto-update. The new package hasn't made it to IEGMC yet, but the G3 and G3 Mirror links should have the updated file.
