Anomaly
Hello, This is my first try to install mods on BG2 under Linux I'm using Wine 0.9.53. I've installed SOA (french), TOB (french) and TOB Intl patch 26498, it worked perfectly, the game starts without any problem. I downloaded WeiDU-Linux 204 (and put the relevant file in my ~/bin) and BG2 FixPack v6 for Mac. I unrar'd the mod in the BG2 directory, ran "tolower", then used "WeInstall bg2fixpack". I choosed the language (French), then yes to the optional components, then install the core fixes. It starts to install things very well, but stops after a while with this error : Copying and patching 1 file ... Copying and patching 1 file ... Copying and patching 1 file ... Copying and patching 6 files ... Copying and patching 5 files ... ERROR: [spcl212.spl] -> [override] Patching Failed (COPY) (Not_found) Stopping installation because of error. CamDawg
bigg, could tolower affect the setting of projectile variables? We have (in order of tp2 appearance): ADD_PROJECTILE ~bg2fixpack/pro/CDDETEVL.pro~ COPY_EXISTING ~spbehbla.pro~ ~override/cdbehbla.pro~ ADD_PROJECTILE ~override/cdbehbla.pro~ COPY_EXISTING ~clck24.itm~ ~override~ // stuff WRITE_LONG ("%fx_off%" + 0x08 + (10 * 0x30)) ("%cdbehbla%" - 1) // more stuff COPY_EXISTING ~spcl212.spl~ ~override~ // detect evil (paladin innate) // stuff WRITE_SHORT ("%abil_off%" + 0x26 + ("%index%" * 0x28)) "%CDDETEVL%" // custom projectile // more stuff The clck24.itm patch runs before spcl212.spl and seems to be fine. Anomaly, look around line 18553 in setup-bg2fixpack.tp2 and replace "%CDDETEVL%" with "%cddetevl%" and try reinstalling. If my speculation above is correct, this should fix it. Link to comment

the bigg
It sets cddetect and not CDDETECT, yes. Fixed for 205. Link to comment

the bigg
No. It's probably just an issue with ADD_MUSIC and ADD_PROJECTILE. Link to comment
