How, exactly, do I apply a duration to spells?

Right, I seem to be a regular topic starter here, don't I...?

 

Well. The Topic Desc explains most of it, but I would like to note that I have tried comparing my spell with other spells in both DLTCEP and NI, and I am none the wiser.

 

All this little "Unknown"s dancing around. Why should that help?

You apply a duration to effects, not spells. The field should be labeled "Duration."

 

I'm not sure what DLTCEP is complaining about, though.

And, in DLTCEP, what is the time in the "Duration" box, is 1 a round?

 

And therefore "10" should be a turn (IIRC)

It works now, or, at least DLTCEP doesn't complain

The time is in seconds. 6 seconds is one round; 60 seconds is one turn.
