Problem/bug with Durlag's tower

On the fourth underground level where you are to fight 4 different guardians to be transported onto the chess board, there appears to be a problem caused by the BG1 NPC mod. Upon killing the last guardian, you are not necessarily transported onto the chess board like you are supposed to be.

I initially surmised the problem was caused by SCS (as can be seen here). However, upon looking into this matter more closely, I found that I still experienced it with nothing but tutufix (for EasyTutu) and BG1 NPC installed. Removing BG1 NPC also makes the problem go away.

 

Guessing around a little turns up the following (which may or may not be relevant):

fw0508 is the area with the fire guardians, fw0509 is the area with the air guardians, fw0510 is slime and fw0511 fw0507 is ice.

 

EDIT: Damnit, it never turns out well when I assume things (the area transition was instantaneous when I entered fw0507 so I didn't make sure). fw0507 is the ice area, not fw0511. Same result, different file, but I apologise regardless.

 

Sure enough, clearing out fw0511 fw0507 after having cleared out the other 3 initiates the transport to onto the chess board. If you do it in any other order, however, you are not transported until you re-enter fw0511 fw0507.
