Strontium Dog
I've read that the latest EasyTutu beta has both BG2-spell-capability for hostile NPC mages and that it has the relatively useful BG2-Fixpack components added in as well. From what I've read, the worldmap isn't compatible with EasyTutu, right now - does anyone know if the new beta version of EasyTutu is meant to be compatible with the worldmap? Normally, I would play a little safe and use EasyTutu, preferably the new beta version minus the worldmap, but wouldn't it conflict with SCS1 in some way? I'd rather avoid the Tutu version 4 as I got endless bugs with it (eg:- constant CTDing on the first night after the 3rd chapter) - which is strange as,up till a few years ago, the Tutu v4 worked fine - there must have been some additions that foule things up in some way. I can't offhand think why any of this would lead to SCS conflicts. As far as I understand it, EasyTUTU transfers the BG2 spells over to BG1 (rather than just converting the BG1 resources) but doesn't muck with wizard scripting or anything. Link to comment
SirLancelot
I've read that the latest EasyTutu beta has both BG2-spell-capability for hostile NPC mages I understand from the SCS II readme that you can try to get that (if you are talking about the scripting feature, of course) by skipping the Smarter Mages component from SCS (I) and install its counterpart in SCS II. It seems to be untested, though. Am i wrong, David? Link to comment

The trouble is that the last time(ages ago) that I contemplated using the SCS2 Improved Mages/Improved Priests component for BG1, a workaround was provided to fix some bug. I would assume that the updated version also requires some sort of workaround as well? Link to comment

Strontium Dog
No idea, try it and see. ("Bug" is probably the wrong word, because SCSII isn't designed for TUTU.) Well, OK, I'm getting my crack-free BG discs(among others) in less than a couple of weeks' time(due to manufacturers being temporarily out of stock), and I'll have a go, then. I'll report any incompatbilities/bugs that occur. Link to comment
