Tweakpack installation seems to loop indefinitely

Hi Everyone!

 

Yesterday I finished SoA for the first time.

 

By now I've been installing ToB (including the latest official patches), and the Fixpack without problems.

 

Then I tried to install the Tweakpack.

 

The Installer started, I chose correctly my SoA directory, then a cmd started displaying auto-update queries. After while I thought "well I' doing this on an older machine (297MHz,256MBRAM,WinXPPro), it will probably take a while". After some 70 minutes I canceled the cmd. Can anyone tell my how the setup process of the Tweakpack is normally supposed to behave?

See here (delete Setup-BG2_Tweaks.bat and run it again).

 

Someone should really pin one of these topics (or just upload the fixed mod).

Should we let it run once and then delete that file and run again, or is it correct to just delete the file straight away once tweaks in unpacakged, and then install it?

Just delete it then install the mod. It's no longer necessary for the more recent versions of WeiDU.
