Odd Planetars Behaviour

I installed the HLA for SoA selected mages component, and while being happy to see Irenicus make use of a Fallen Planetar, I noticed it has the tendency to seldom heal the same tank it is fighting against, or run to my main character in order to land a heal spell ( fast, uninterruptable one as the same component ) on him, before start to attack again. This clearly doesn't make sense.

Another thing about the planetars is that their vorpal swords chunk; not sure if they allow a save too, anyway it would be nice if the vorpal effect could be toned down like you did for balors, because the irreversible loss of a party member is always a call for a reload.

Indeed not: clearly a bug. Do you have "PnP celestials" installed?

That's a harder one: I haven't modified them, so it's vanilla-game behaviour. Do they chunk you even if you've got the "no permanent death" option installed?

I have neither of them.

Actually I was sure I had the no permanent death tweak installed but doesn't look so from my weidu log, do you know where to get it?

This bug is present even in the unmodded game. It will be fixed in the next version of the G3 BG2 Fixpack.

I have neither of them.

Actually I was sure I had the no permanent death tweak installed but doesn't look so from my weidu log, do you know where to get it?

You have got it installed.

It's not totally reliable, though, and it doesn't work unless you start a new game.

Is it possible to provide some sort of fix for the recent SCSII version? Or to include it in, say, the improved celestials component?

In fact, it's due to a bug in SCSII v6 that this isn't happening already: SCSII is supposed to replace summoned planetar scripts, but it isn't currently doing so.

Since this counts as a moderately serious bug, I'll post a hotfix.

nice, thx :p

p.s. where do you see the anti-chunk tweak on my weidu installation? I can't find it :p

Right there. Doesn't work all that perfectly for me either, though.

Only so much that can be done, I fear... engine limitations. It cuts down a lot on chunking, I think, but it doesn't eliminate it.
