Guest Logan
I can't get the widescreen mod to install for BG Tales of the Sword Coast due to an error. Here's what I do step by step. Do a custom install of BG1 with all boxes checked Do a custom install of Tales of the Sword Coast with all boxes checked Download and install the latest TotSC patch Make a new save in Baldur's Gate Download and run the Widescreen Mod and here is the end of my debug log when the error occurs... I thought it was because I didn't do a full install and it couldn't find AREA120A, so I uninstalled and did a custom install with every box checked but it still doesn't work. Link to comment
the bigg
You might need to edit the paths in baldur.ini so that they point to your correct installation directory. Link to comment
Guest Logan
I checked my Baldur's Gate directory to see where the file would be located and it seems I'm missing AREA120A.BIF. I can see AREA120B.BIF, but no 120A. I'm not sure why it would be missing, since the install went fine. Link to comment
Daulmakan
Quoting Ghreyfain: Now, a lot of people have been having problems with the conversion because for some reason BG1's installation process doesn't copy over all the necessary files, even though the user selects full install (or custom install and checks everything). Search for the missing files in your game CDs and copy them to your hard drive. (I had this problem when trying to install Tutu). Link to comment
