Throne of Bhaal Fog of War issues

I've read the sticky above and done the following.

 

Installed the widescreen mod, played the game, resolution fine, fog of war blocky.

 

Followed the stickied steps, changing the settings in BGConfig. The game returns to 800x600, block of war fine.

 

When I used the mod on Windows XP I was able to Right-click the desktop and turn down the Hardware Acceleration, is there a similar option in Vista?

There is, but it harder to get to fast, which is nothing but a pain for non-n00bs. I'll be damned if I knew where it was, though. Probably in 'Advanced' of the screen prefences or something similar.

I don't know about Vista.

 

You need to uninstall widescreen, run bgconfig, and then reinstall widescreen. You cannot run bgconfig while widescren is installed (or the resolution will change automatically to 640, which sucks).
