Help with BG2 TDD

Can someone help me?

i was doing the quest where u save that boy from Trollfort place. When i save him im supposted to teleport to Umar Hills but nothign happens and when i go back to Umar, Johnanne (person who gave me the quest) wont talk to me at all about her son. I was wondering if it was a bug or i just didn't do something right? Please help :
