aVENGER_(RR)
In BG2, this opcode incurs a cumulative 10 point penalty to the target's base THAC0, sets the target's VISUALRANGE stat to 2 and makes STATE_BLIND return true. Link to comment

Cumulative with itself or cumulative with other effects? -Galactygon Link to comment
aVENGER_(RR)
Cumulative with itself or cumulative with other effects? Both. For example, if you cast the level 1 Wizard Spell Blindness two times on the same creature you'll give it a THAC0 penalty of 20. I'm not sure how you're supposed to blind someone more than once but that's how it works. The THAC0 penalty is hardcoded into the main effect. Link to comment
Guest Guest
Ouch. Hopefully, GemRB will give us a cleaner engine. -Galactygon Link to comment
Taimon
Looks like something that should get fixed. (Don't apply thac0 malus when already blind.) Link to comment
Avenger
Yes, this effect stacks the thac0 penalty in BG2, but doesn't stack it in IWD2. In IWD2 the blindfighting feat disables the to hit penalty. Link to comment
lynx
Maybe we should do what the description says instead. Having no ac penalty seems silly. Link to comment
