Initiative bonus?

Where exactly does the engine account for initiative, or does it? For example, Haste says it gives a -2 initiative bonus, but I don't see any sort of opcode or stat that would grant that.

Well, speed factor is for weapons and it already says it improves attacks per round. I'm thinking it's one of those relics that got copied from the PnP resources but is only applicable to turn-based combat (and therefore not the IE games).

Attack speed factor doesn't improve attacks per round. Speed Factor actually is Initiative, as it determines when attacks are made within the round.

 

I haven't tested if haste really improves it by 2, though if it works similarly to improved haste (which compresses the round duration by half) it may well do something like improving the initiative. But I wouldn't bet on it.
