Guest Guest
Hi, I've just installed SCS and have a weird problem. When I create a new character he has unremovable fire agate gem in his inventory. This seems to happen regardless of class, however when I import bg1 character file he doesn;t have it. It's not a terribly big problem but still, gem occupies one inventory slot. I am guessing this is related to SCS because I've played with other mods and didn't have it happen and when I searched this forum I found this exchange between someone and DawidW: Also, I see that many scripts seem to depend on the NPCs having a Fire Agate gem in their inventory? This is SCS again - they're undroppable markers. Sometimes it's easiest to fine-tune a creature's behaviour that way rather than giving it a dedicated script. Anyway, I'd appreciate a solution for this ! Link to comment
Guest Guest
Uninstalling ease of use AI fixed this. Still, is this supposed to happen? Readme doesn't mention anything. Link to comment
Guest carl
I had this same problem with the unremovable fire gem and uninstalled the ai thing just like you and it solved the probelm. thanks (also first post) Link to comment
Taimon
It's strange that the Ease-of-Use AI should have anything to do with it. I'd rather think it is the potions component adding the dw#ptnnd.itm to charbase.cre. (when you don't select "all potions survive") Link to comment

Taimon
Like I said, it's "Potions for NPCs" that's causing this. I suggest reinstalling SCS with the hotfix and choose the "all potions survive" variant (5020) when installing "Potions for NPCs". Link to comment
