problem with map

Hi!

 

I have a similar problem.

 

I have read the map and gotten to Ymmyrts backyard and fought his guards and Lorraine. I then go inside his house but immediately as I come into his hallway the game crashes. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but the same problem occurs.

 

I have tried to pause the game when being in this area and have even explored the full area with the help of CLUAConsole. I have also had a love banter with Jaheira inside.

 

Where do I go from here?

 

Edit: I have also confirmed that I have the required files in my override folder, I can also hear Ambers voicing in game.

 

Here might be the cause. I'm sorry that I haven't have time to fix it. I really should.

I forced my way through area03 which seems to be the problem area. Area 04 and 05 seemed to work fine, (the room with the demon & Gabriel and Ymmyrts laboratory). I did this with the help of CLUA. I then forced myself back to the original area and met up with Amber again.

 

By the way, is Lorraine supposed to die in the fight? It bugged me somewhat that Ymmyrt killed her with disintegration. Could I have saved her and managed to free her son?

I'm quessing that' it's the bowman in that area who's causing all this trouble. Ymmyrt should probably fire him. Although I can't off-hand pinpoint the other mod that triggers this issue.

Lorraine can survive that battle. However if she doesn't, your PC can try to help her son. Look around in the laboratory.
