Ardanis
So, a doctor in 23? Grats, have another beer Hm, maybe I should get back to university and get a degree too... hmm... Link to comment
the bigg
So, a doctor in 23? Actually, in Italy we get the 1st level degree ('doctor') after 3 years, 2nd level degree ('specialized doctor' or 'magistral doctor') after a further 2 years, and the PhD ('research doctor') after a further 3. I currently received the 1st level one. I actually am one year late, since the year after high school I studied Mathematics at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, but quickly found out I disliked that and thus decided to study CS instead in my home town (losing a full year in the interim). Ardanis
Ah, I see. I was somehow thinking about russian terms, where doctor is the third degree and usually is granted for a notable work/research, not 'years'. Link to comment
Domi
Are you staying at the Uni for the next round, or getting some fortunate gaming company to hire you? Link to comment
-JR-
Congratulations, friend. I know I don't know you well, but someone reaching the end of a long road is always to be admired. Good on ya. Link to comment
the bigg
Yes, I'm planning to get the second level degree (which means a further two years of University). However, I'm following the course for Mobile & Multimedial Web Services, which means I'm not probably going to work in the game industry. Link to comment
