Items that raise the caster's level

I didn't play the game for a very very long time so I must ask you.

 

If such items do not exist, it would be a very nice thing to add them (an amulet or a ring, for instance) and have them usable by Arcane and Divine users.

I worked on that, but the opcode which should raise caster level doesn't work.

Well, you get that when you make Xan a Wildmage---> so the opcoded items makes the spells casted as higher level caster, not level up the character. So give a BGT starting mage PC a +8 level up ring and cast magic missile--> should see 5 missiles.
