Guest Guest_BuddyRich_*
Do changes to the rule related .2da files like thac0, and the 2 weapon specializations .2das affect monsters as well? Specifically classed NPC monsters? Or is their thac0, attacks per round, set in the .cre file itself, and not derived from its class level as a PCs is? Link to comment

Till then they may be different, whatever is set in their cres. Link to comment
devSin
As long as they're a playable class (e.g., FIGHTER), yes. Most "monsters" by default use special classes that aren't affected by the rules tables (everything is determined from the stats defined in their CREs). Link to comment

Bonuses from weapon specialization, bonuses from strength and dexterity, etc. affect NPCs. Things from levels - like basic thac0, basic amount of spells, basic number of attacks, basic number of HP (with condition modifier), etc. are set in the .cre file. Link to comment
