Guest Guest_BuddyRich_*
Is there a problem with editing thac0.2da to have negative values? Both the P&P and Unnerfered tables stop at 0, though I am sure P&P extends into negatives (at least according to some supplements)? In addition to that can you assign a creature to have a base thac0 of a negative value directly or do you have to start at 0 and work your way down with effects? My second question was asked before but I just need clarification, xplevel.2da controls XP for all classes and kits. So if its a Fighter Kit, like aKensai, it would use the Fighter. Adding a Kensai column won't do anything for it. The solution I think was to add a script so that the kit recieved a percentage of XP to make up the difference. Could this be done to a single character, or would it apply to the entire group, especially with quest rewards. Finally is it possible to remove some kit selections? So when I leveled up a Fighter, I could only select Kensai, no button for the other two kits? Can it be done for specialty mages? Link to comment

Yes, it's possible to take kits off the list or add them by editing the appropriate K_X_X.2DA files. For specialist mages, you can remove them from the list by editing .chu files (see here), but you won't be able to put other kits in their place. Link to comment
