nataben1314
I put my 4 player party run on hold for awhile, because as usual I don't seem to have patience for party play. So I will solo SCS2 as a Swashie, and post here about how it goes. Name: Seneca Race: Elf Class: Swashbuckler Strength: 19 Dex: 20 Con: 16 Int: 13 Wis: 15 Cha: 14 Two-weapon Fighting: *** Scimitars: ** My stats have are so high due to "virtual trip" through BG1 for tomes. Also, I refuse to use Celestial Fury. Also, here is my install: // Log of Currently Installed WeiDU Mods // The top of the file is the 'oldest' mod // ~TP2_File~ #language_number #component_number // [subcomponent Name -> ] Component Name [ : Version] ~RR/SETUP-RR.TP2~ #0 #11 // Chosen of Cyric encounter: v4.03 ~SCSII/SETUP-SCSII.TP2~ #0 #1000 // Detectable spells and effects (required for most other components): v8 ~SCSII/SETUP-SCSII.TP2~ #0 #2010 // More consistent Breach spell (always affects liches and rakshasas; Also, I have "no traps/locks" isntalled. This will lose me some XP, but I don't care. It makes my character more powerful early on because I can put lots in pickpocketing, and also have good "detect illusion" ability right away. So far not too much noteworthy. Mae'var is so much more fun now, even if his stats aren't improved but just his AI... and those assassins are tough with all their invis potions... ended up winning by charming mae'var with nymph cloak and using him to help kill the assassins. One thing is that with my high pickpocket score I have potions galore, not just from store pickpocketing but from pickpocketing all manner of people... it seems like SCS2 adds potions to every character that can fight, but this means I can pickpocket tons of potions, including very powerful stuff like the magic blocking (or is it shielding? cant remember) potions. For example, I pickpocket tons of potions from all the people in the Council of Six building. edit: Idea for another version would be some kind of optional change to Protection from Undead scrolls. They are to undead what Shield of Balduran is to Beholders. And there are plenty of them in the game, too. Link to comment
