This might have something to do with the installer reporting of "file not found" with few of the files in either of the game folders. The installer also leaves the setup-get_iwd_resources.exe, .tp2 and .debug into the Icewind Dale game folder.

Well, what ever, I have uploaded the setup-get_iwd_resources.debug and the SETUP-IWD_IN_BG2.DEBUG here, so you DavidW can download them if you wish, while I return to the fake v3(v2).
