Hi guys,

 

This is my first post ever on this website (total n00b) ;) , so first off would like to say a big thankyou to absolutely everyone who has put in the time and effort to make such extremely awesome mods for BG! :D

The reason why i have installed - then re-installed level 1 npc mod a couple of times is I am trying to get Jaheira to have crossbow proficiency - this works fine when installing the mod, but in the game when she levels up, i cannot select crossbow proficiency! :D (I believe this is because she is only allowed 1 *)

but any other proficiency that the mod initially allows me to place 1 * in won't let me do this in the game either...

 

I remember reading in the readme: "Allow Druids one star in any weapon type a Fighter can use. This will allow Fighter/Druid multiclasses the full gamut of weapons available to fighters (as per Second Edition AD&D rules)." So I figured this meant that Jaheira would now be able to place 2 ** in crossbow... ?

 

Am I way off..? or is there something that I installed incorrectly?

 

I tried making a Fighter/ Druid and a Druid at character creation, and the Druid could select any weapon for 1 *, but the Fighter/ Druid can't select anything a pre-modded BG Fighter/ Druid can :rolleyes:

 

Is this what was intented??

Hi, master orc.

 

There are a bunch of bugfixes rolled up in this version, yep. Could do with an official refresh.

 

- fixed: install failure with NeJ2

- fixed: armed and armoured viconia at the stake in SoA

- fixed: various people not affected by "More closely match protagonist experience", later fixed again to avoid a tutu/bgt regression

- fixed: haer'dalis not affected by "More closely match protagonist experience" due to a typo

- fixed: lowest-level variants of viconia and imoen not changed in SoA

- fixed: xan was offered for changing in SoA, though he's just a tutorial character

- fixed: fighter/druid proficiency bug w/o multiclass grand mastery

I assume one of those catches the last bug reported here? Though perhaps not, since you only appear to have an updated tp2 not the fjxpmooc.baf?

 

I'll update the version history in the readme if cmorgan wants to use his poohbah power to package and upload an update.

Nope. Didn't want to go to the trouble of packaging and distributing several files.

 

The bug report is good and needs just a mindless fix though, so anyone can do that while putting a package together. :crazyeyes:
