Bandit camp problem

Since it hasn't been reported widely as an issue for several years, I'm fairly confident it's fixed and that this is an unrelated local problem on your install. If you're still around, give me some more details.

Just so you know, i had very similar issue few hours ago. I have BGT with lots of tweak mods, and SCS, but no other mega mods from what i recall. I'm not sure its bug, maybe its supposed to work that way, but that fight was impossible to do in any "legit" way and i had completed all other areas before going to camp so my level wasn't at fault.

 

The issue: I didn't join bandits (actually couldn't join them even if i wanted but nvm that), so i went to the camp from map thinking "Its ok, it probably will be hefty fight but i can handle it" Boy was i wrong...

 

The moment i went anywhere near camp and got spotted by one of bandits, every bandit and i really mean all of them, every single one, went straight for me. It was 30-40 bandits with those guys from Main tent included. There was just no way in hell i could beat that, sure i could hold my ground for few moments, but as soon as they all converged on my location and started spamming ranged attacks it was instant death.

 

So in the end, after few hours of trying (even tried small ruins south from camp to limit amount of bandits that can attack me at once) i went and exploited game mechanics to beat it. Had whole area covered with webs / entangle (had to use 6 of those) and just spammed fire wand (fireball) for the next 2 minutes as more and more of bandits approached. Not really what i would call epic fight :( And funny thing is, even with that tactic it was 2 shots in the face to kill most of them, and some took 3 shots before going down.

 

Not sure if this is supposed to work like this?

Well, that's not the same as the Weidu.log's content DavidW is asking above. The reason why he is asking for that is that he has some idea where to look for the mistake and the exact knowledge on what's going on. Yes, he might still need you to change-log something, but that's extras you do not need to say just yet.

Reason why i didn't provide WeiDU log is that I'm not even sure it's bug. Could be this is how bandit camp should work in this situation with SCS and it's just me that sucks.

Reason why i didn't provide WeiDU log is that I'm not even sure it's bug. Could be this is how bandit camp should work in this situation with SCS and it's just me that sucks.
Well, if it truly is that the guys from inside the tent come outside, while you fight with the other bandits, it is a bug... but not if it's the Taugosh Hhosann with the other bandits. The names of individual bandits inside the tent are: Britik, Raemon, Ventk and Hakt, and there should be a few others Chill and Black Talon bandits inside.. even after you fight the major battle outside. Yes, there's Chill and Black Talon guards outside too.

Hmm I'm pretty sure this is SCS feature, i mean bandits leaving tent, the script is there and its evident what it does. But that is not the main problem, i don't mind them eventually coming outside.

 

Problem was, whole camp went straight for me all at once. I just barely went into vision of one guard on the far end of the camp, on the opposite side to the Tazok tent, yet all of them came running (some with potions of speed), and they all knew exactly where to find me even tho i backed away. So there was no chance of slowly fighting my way to main tent i had to fight the whole camp at once.

 

And to confirm that in fact whole camp agroed. After fight ended what was left in the camp were total of 2 goblins in one tent few gnols in cave, and one named bandit (Knott?) in another tent.
