Can't Kill Sarevok

I am at the final battle with Sarevok and his buddies, I have found it impossible to kill him he is near death for ever and i can knock him unconsious and he gets back up again, I am doing lots of damage to him so that is not the problem is this a glich or what, I can beat him down for 5 minutes knock him unconscous a bunch of times and he never dies. HELP

Probably a stupid question, but - have you killed all his allies already? Improved final battle component from SCS makes it impossible to kill him unless all of the others are dead.

If yes, did you try to reload a previous save (outside the temple would suffice, I'd say) and do the battle again? Maybe the script misfired for a bunch of reasons.

i had the same problem on a previous run through of SCS and I just don't install make final battle tougher (I DID kill everyone first).

Are you sure that no one escaped through the temple door outside? Diarmid sometimes does that, and it's extremely annoying since you cannot go outside to kill him and cannot kill Sarevok as well. Did you actually see all of the four lackeys of Sarevok die?

I have just had the same problem.

When I use Cloudkill on Semaj, he dies and then Saverok talks to me but does not teleport Diarmid or Angelo in.

 

That makes Saverok unkillable.

 

If I talk to Saverok first everything goes OK.

 

It is a minor bug, but a bit annoying.

I have ran into the same problem. Diarmid moves outside, its check mate - you cannot kill Sarevok. His other lackeys are dead, there are three dead skeletal warriors on the ground to prove it.

 

I am intrigued as to how blocking the temple exit works in the engine, because it does not affect NPCs obviously.

....so just Sarevok & I left in the Temple of Bhaal......he is chasing me around, I cannot kill him...I somehow position myself behind a pillar and he cannot find me! Rejoice I can save the game. Checking the SPRITEISDEAD global variables, for any avoidance of doubt:
