Guest Guest_Zante_*
Hi, I'm playing through the Baldur's Gate series for the first time and was very happy to hear of this brilliant piece of work which allows me to play it in a wide screen resolution. Everything works so far but the problem is that in BG1 the bottom part of the GUI goes off screen when I put it in fullscreen mode and in BG2, the bottom part of the GUI as well as the right hand side go off screen when in full screen mode. Is there a solution to this or is just the way things are currently? Thanks for your time. Link to comment
kthxbye
I've never experienced that behavior, so the following are just two things that came to my mind - not sure if they work. First of all, check if you set a higher resolution than your screen one and if so, try to use the same resolution as your screen one. Also, try to start the game, then use the monitor's auto-adjust command - it should have a dedicated button on the monitor, or something like that. If neither work, I hope someone will help you better soon. Link to comment
Zante
Well, I'm running in 1680 x 1050 but I've set the mod to run at 1280 x 800 because I like the close up. At 1680 the same problem occurs. Auto adjust doesn't seem to fix the problem. I've included a screenshot of the problem here: http://tinyurl.com/m6stdf Note: When I pressed print screen it took a screenshot of the entire area (rather than just what was visible on screen), I've edited the shot so that what you see is how it appears on my monitor when running in full screen. I'll mess about with the monitor adjustments to see if I can manually make it fit. Thanks for your time. : ] Update: Making it fit manually with the monitor controls makes it look correct but also brings to light another problem I never noticed before, mainly that I can't scroll down on the map. I'm using a laptop which is plugged into a monitor and set to single display only. An odd problem, anyone have any ideas? Link to comment
