Guest Grumblefish
So I was re-running the install for BG1NPC (it was previously installed and working perfectly), and wasn't thinking too carefully. I pressed "y" to display everything, and I pressed "y" for the first option displayed, which is the main package. I don't know why "y" did anything, because it's not an option there, but that's besides the point. The install was going incredibly slowly, so I just closed it and re-ran. Well, that was stupid of me, because now it cannot re-install. It asked me to post the debug file, but I don't know where that is. Can anyone tell me what went wrong, and whether or not it can be fixed? I really don't want to reinstall all of bg1 & tutu. Thanks Link to comment
Guest Grumblefish
Oh, just to be clear where I am: the installation file considers BG1NPC to be uninstalled. When I run the BG1NPC v17 file, it asks me if I want to install, not re-install, the package. I click install, then it works for a while, before giving me the following error message: ERROR locating resource for 'copy' Resource [_neb.cre] not found in KEY file: [./chitin.key] Stopping installation because of error. ERROR Installing, rolling back to previous state Will uninstall 361 files for [bg1npc.tp2] component 0. Unistalled 361 files for [bg1npc.tp2] component 0. ERROR: Failure <"resource [_neb.cre] not found for 'copy'"> then it gives me the address for this forum :/ It allows me to retry, but I get the same result no matter what. Link to comment
jastey
Hm, there was a neb.cre error for the Tutu v4 sometime back, but that was something else, I think ( http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?s...mp;#entry107741 ). I fear that closing the first window (I guess by pressing the "X" button? Very bad idea in this case, as cmorgan put it: That made the universe of the execution program implode) the file was maybe damaged? Link to comment
