Guest Sans_Scope
I've been coming to G3 for a long time now whenever I get the urge to play BG2 and for better or worse I've never really had any issues. So imagine my surprise when running my regular computer scans that three files I downloaded from G3 were flagged as spyware. The mods in question were NPCkit, NPC tweak, and Song and Silence. The anti-malware software I used, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, claimed the exe files were infected with Spyware.Banker and having already had to deal with an issue of debit card fraud earlier this year I'm being extra paranoid. I don't know if it's just a matter of my anti-malware software being finicky (none of the other G3 mods I have were flagged) or if there is a genuine reason to be concerned, but I thought it would be a good idea to let you guys know in case there is. I tried searching in the forums for any mention of this happening to anyone else, but came up with nothing so I'm hoping it's just my anti-malware being stupid. Link to comment
Kaeloree
It's a known problem with many anti-spyware and anti-virus programs, which for some reason flag weidu.exe as being infected. It's not, so you don't need to worry about it; it's just a false positive. Link to comment
