Converting to Tutu

I've already downloaded the Baldurdash text update, and the patch for errors, but reading over threads I've gotten confused on whether that's the right thing to do if one plans to convert to Tutu, since EasyTutu apparently comes with it already. Would this cause problems?

Probably not, but it's recommended to convert to EasyTutu from clean installations.

 

You may be interested in reading this if you don't already keep clean backups handy.

I don't think it matters much with EasyTutu, though you probably want to make sure your BG2 game is fairly unmodded before converting.

I plan on just playing with the Baldurdash/text fixes (in the case of BG1), and the G3fixpack/text fixes (in the case of BG2). Maybe Unfinished Business on both, and the NPC mod for BG1.

 

So I'm taking it that it'd be okay to go ahead with the conversion, since as of right now my BG2 is completely unmodded.

 

I can't wait for the BG1 fixpack that you guys have in progress. You guys are great.

Probably, but EasyTutu includes the Baldurdash/text fixes so you don't want or need to install it after the conversion either. I don't think it's even possible really (works on regular BG1 only).

 

Also, EasyTutu includes BG2 Fixpack stuff relevant to that engine. A lot of the BG1 fixes are specific to that engine and therefore aren't relevant for EasyTutu.
